Working to serve God in a critical, administrative capacity, using necessary skills to keep the camp running smoothly. You will work hard and be on top of all of the little details to ensure that all areas of camp are covered and ready to go.
TUCK SHOP COORDINATOR
This person will be responsible for managing the tuck shop. Must have good organizational, communication skills, general computer knowledge and use of money. Must be good at multi-tasking and be extremely detail oriented. This person will work closely with Cathy in the Vernon office and will also be involved in the training of LIT’s and SLP students while in the tuckshop.
This person works to ensure a safe, healthy, and positive camp environment for all campers, SLP’s, LIT’s and staff. Will provide necessary first aid treatment and documentation in the event of accident or injury and will stock, supply and organize any and all first aid medications. Will be responsible for organizing, communicating, and documenting various health forms and medication throughout the summer. Will also work alongside the registered nurse and office administrator. Position requires to be on-call at various hours and in case of emergency. Must have previous experience and be a qualified first aid attendant or have a current license to practice nursing. Will also have a positive, outgoing attitude and have an overwhelming passion and desire to care for children and staff.
Seasonal Office Administrator
This individual will be hired from May 1st - Aug 26th. The position begins with training in our Vernon Office and then will move to camp later in May. This individual will be working closely with our Head Office Administrator Cathy Van Arnam. Note that this is a highly Administrative position. This individual must be comfortable working with computers and must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and it's programs.
