Rules & Expectations
Cell Phones
Campers are not permitted to retain their cell phones in their cabins. We are happy to facilitate contact between campers and home through the use of the camp phone and in consultation with parents and guardians. If there are extenuating circumstances in your family life that requires frequent contact between your child and home, please discuss this with the camp office prior to the start of camp
Leaving Camp
No camper is permitted to leave camp without the specific, written consent of the parent or guardian. To ensure the safety of your child(ren), we also require a written note or filling out of the CAMPER PICKUP RELEASE FORM giving permission for anyone other than yourself to pick up your child at the end of his or her week of camp. There will be delays in releasing your child to anyone else if we do not have it in writing. Please send this note with your child (or the person bringing them) if you do not plan on transporting them in either direction. Please note: Your child(ren) will need to be signed out at the end of the camp week.
Camper Expectations
Campers must:
- Attend all camper activities (religious participation is not required)
- Follow all camp rules
- Respect and cooperate with staff
- Respect other Campers
In order to deal with any issues pertaining to the above areas Eagle Bay Camp a disciplinary policy
Disciplinary Process
Our leadership staff are committed to a constructive and restorative disciplinary process. This means working cooperatively with staff and campers to ensure a safe supportive and bully free environment for everyone. The Disciplinary process is often referred to as our 3 strike rule. In this process we move from verbal reminders of the rules, to parent contact and when required, early departure from camp.
