KITCHEN
Serve God in a vital capacity this summer, working practically to ensure that each camper gets fed! Work alongside our Head Chef to deliver incredible and delicious food that is vital to campers and staff all summer. Serving in the kitchen provides an opportunity to have a hands-on approach to ministry and serving.
The Assistant Cook's primary responsibilities include preparation and cooking of food for all meals. This includes cleaning of various cooking stations, equipment, and food prep areas. This person must work closely with our Head Chef and all volunteer cooks, giving directions as needed. This person will also be expected to supervise all kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence. Previous experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred but not required. Must be task orientated, have critical thinking skills, be energetic and posess good communication skills.
